Dumisani Empowerment Initiative Phase 1

As part of the experiential learning exercises the community members were treated to soccer, volleyball and netball games. These activities gave the pupils to learn how to balance their studies with their daily lives. Through these games they also learned why a healthy mind and healthy body is required for academic success. The “girl child” also given sanitary towels, while the “boy child” had training on “Gender Based Violence”. On a lighter note, both school learners and community members were treated with a light meal.

The club intends to revisit the community in November 2025, for an early Christmas party. Other important activities on the list are the school feeding programme at Aris Grundschule beginning of October 2025.
